The footbed does the work
Why the cork-latex mold is the product, and the straps are just how you keep it on.
Bikren starts with a footbed, not an upper. The cork and latex are molded with a deep heel cup, a toe bar, and an arch that sits further in than a flat sandal.
On the first day it can feel assertive. That is the shape asking your foot to meet it. After a few wears the cork compresses where you actually stand, and the fit becomes specific.
Straps, clogs, and the Ridge boot all use the same mold. If a pair of Aarhus fits, a Bergen in the same size and width should too.
